The cosiest children’s bedrooms this Autumn

It’s November and all the excitement of Halloween and bonfire night has passed. We can all start thinking about hunkering down for Winter and the start of festive preparations! We thought we’d share with you what our lovely customers have shopped for and shared this season to give you a some inspiring ideas to give your little one’s room a makeover ready for Christmas and also to make you feel all warm and cosy.

Toy Storage is key!

Perfect for the abundance of toys children tend to receive each Christmas, our toyboxes are big and roomy, and have soft close hinges (meaning no trapped fingers, plus they assist little arms on the way up too!). Available in the same wood as our beds, or in lots of colourful fabrics, you’ve been buying all sorts. The favourite this season seems to be our lovely Starlight Tox Chest, which matches our entire star-themed Starlight furniture range. Autumn is the time to decorate…sometimes three times!

We have been amazed by one of our customers in particular this Autumn. They kindly purchase a Butterworth Storage bed from us a few years ago, and have recently given it not one, not two but three different makeovers this year! From a ruby red bedroom, to a Chelsea football fan’s dream, to finally a beautiful blue guest bedroom. All of our beds are guaranteed for 5 years and tend to last lots longer, so we hope there will be many more Butterworth bedroom makeovers.

You’re creating the cosiest reading corners!

As the nights get darker and the winter chills kick in, there’s nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa and burying your head in a good book. And it’s no different for children! You’ve been loving our children’s chairs, armchairs and sofas! Your children love to play – quite rightly!

You have made our beds cosy and magical…

Designing furniture in our barn in Calverton is all great, but the bit that makes it all worthwhile is seeing our furniture in your homes, surrounded by favourite possessions, covered in cosy duvets and featuring happy (and hopefully sleepy) children.
