Description
A storage bed and trundle all in one
The Butterworth single bed with pop-up trundle is perfect for kids and teens. Featuring a handy pop-up trundle bed, you'll always be equipped for extra guests and sleepovers. The trundle bed can be used for guests either with the bed in a low sleeping position on the floor or with the trundle in a fixed raised position level with the main Butterworth single bed frame to create a double bed, making it a super flexible guest bed. Once the need to sleep an an extra head has ended you can simply wheel the trundle back underneath the single bed with a lovely neat fit.
The trundle has the same footprint as a single bed so you can use any single mattress, however we recommend a mattress no deeper than 150mm for a neat fit under the main bed frame when not in use. Also if you want a fully flat bed for sleeping guests then you'll need to ensure that the mattress on the trundle and on the single bed are the same depth.
A space saving guest bed
The Butterworth single bed has a unique super storage headboard. Not only is there a bookshelf, with three separate storage compartments, but there's also a secret storage compartment for your child's favourite and secret possessions. Be sure to also check out our Alexia single bed which features the same storage headboard, but with a curvier headboard. If the Butterworth bed isn't quite for you then take a look at our other trundle bed or guest bed options.
