Choosing the right bed

Single beds can be used from toddler age and up. There is no set age for your child to move from their cot to a single bed as every child is different, but this typically happens between the ages of 18 months - 3 years old. And if you feel your child might benefit from a smaller bed before moving into a full-sized single, then you can always opt for a Toddler Bed.

Built with super-strong, high quality wood and finished with non-toxic protective paint, our beds are easy to build and designed to last throughout your little one's childhood and beyond.

But it's not all about the bed frame... Single Beds with Storage

Our single beds feature clever storage options, we have a single, twin or triple storage drawer units storing bedding beneath the mattress and bed frame as an option. Doing this can help save you space in your child's bedroom, but it's also a great way to keep the items you use the most close at hand.

What is a good size bed for a 12 year old?

A good size bed for a 12 year old would be about 1 meter wide (900mm). This is the standard width of the average UK mattress, and it should accommodate most 12-year-old children.
